Returns & Exchanges
We want your outdoor gear to arrive correctly and work as expected. If there is a problem with your order, contact us as soon as possible so we can help.
Return window: Most unused items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in new, unused condition with original packaging, manuals, accessories, and proof of purchase.
How to start a return
- Contact us through the Contact page or email support@hcloutdoors.com with your order number.
- Tell us whether you want a return, exchange, or help with a damaged or incorrect item.
- Wait for return instructions before shipping anything back. Returns sent without approval may be delayed.
- Pack the item securely and include all original parts and packaging.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery. Please include your order number and clear photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label. If the issue is confirmed, we will help with a replacement, exchange, refund, or return shipping instructions.
Exchanges
Exchanges depend on product availability. If the replacement item is available, we will guide you through the exchange process. If it is out of stock, we may offer a refund or help you choose another item.
Return shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is caused by our error, a verified defect, or shipping damage. We recommend using a trackable shipping service because we cannot confirm a return until it is received.
Refunds
After we receive and inspect the returned item, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Your bank or card provider may need additional time to post the refund. Original shipping charges may not be refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Items that cannot be returned
- Used, altered, damaged, or incomplete items not caused by shipping or manufacturing issues.
- Items missing original packaging, manuals, accessories, or proof of purchase.
- Final sale, clearance, gift card, or custom items when marked as non-returnable.
- Fuel, gas canisters, hazardous materials, or consumable supplies. HCL Outdoors does not sell fuel with camping stoves.
Outdoor use note
Outdoor products should always be used according to the product instructions and local safety rules. Returns do not cover ordinary wear and tear, misuse, accidents, improper storage, or damage caused by using a product outside its intended purpose.
